Google Getting Into The TV & Film Industry?

Yup, you heard it right they are getting into the entertainment industry starting with the internet. Yea, I know there are already networks out there that have some form of online presence but not with the package Google delivers. They have created an online distribution model along with Google Adsense that breaks the limit on how much money can be made with online video.

Who better to start out this venture with than “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane. Seth will give Google a brand new online series called “Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy.”  It will be split up into 50 two-minute episodes and only be available exclusively on the internet. The deal was said to be one of the largest Google Adsense deals done. Seth will make money everytime someone views his video, and will even do custom commercials done in his cartoon style for advertisers as well. Google will do its part to promote the show by advertising video ads in target markets, so expect them here on AnalogHype this fall (haha).

This could be the start of something great, according to the New York Times, “some Hollywood film financiers are betting millions that the company will succeed.”
