A Mickey Factz game would be an action/puzzle solving game. I’d be fighting against the system. Which I’m pretty much doing now (Laughing). The main enemy would be the man with all the money. Whoever that is. I just wanna have a talk with that man. In real life and in the Video Game world.

For years Japanese RPG’s delivered a lot of variety to the market and games like final fantasy, dragon quest and Zelda were pretty much at the fore front of the RPG category. Then came an avalanche of RPG’s created by westernized developers, and now today westernized rpgs’s may just be the most popular form of RPG’s, at least in north America and Europe.
No video has been broadcast yet, but the event has finally come to a close. Pretty much, Bow Wow couldn’t back all the shit up that he was talking and ended up getting blown out by The Game with a score of 55 to 23. Not sure yet what teams they were using, but the fact that they were playing on an Xbox 360 seemed to be a big advantage for Bow Wow (I’d imagine that if they were on a PS3, he might not have scored ANY points). Xbox live is having a closeout everything must go sell (well not really) until the end of October. Earlier today, Analoghype’s own James G. sat down and played through the new off-road racer, Pure. Racing in ATV’s and pulling off crazy stunts was great, and the graphics are amazing, from the mud to the water effects. This is one game that will fill your off road racing needs, check out the gameplay and then go download the demo for yourself.
I was playing Madden NFL 2009 today, and before I hit the field, I was asked to update. I knew this update wasn’t the one EA was mentioning for the out of bounds AI glitch, the Direct Receiver Quick Snap glitch, or to add gameplay sliders (since the gameplay sliders themselves were nowhere to be found).
What I did notice was a change in visuals. Throughout the game you’re introduced to stat overlays that show you the drive summary, redzone effectiveness, and so on. On the right side of every stat overlay is an advertisement, and it was to my assumption that this advertisement would always be sprint (as that seems to be the main advertiser this year). The very first stat overlay in my ass whupping against the Ravens, I immediately noticed a change: EA had changed the ad from Sprint to a TV show on Fox.
This doesn’t necessarily piss me off as I actually like product placement in certain games (Sports games, modern adventure games, etc) but it worries me for the future. How long could it be until we start seeing Sprite ads flash brighly on the screen while drumming it up on Rock Band? Will the parachute that drops my rations crate in Battlefield be splashed with a nice Verizon Wireless visual?
